What did Jesus mean by the Kingdom of God ..within.never noticed this verse closely and assumed it was heaven?

Jesus' message to Christians is to establish God's kingdom on Earth; in other words, make the world like heaven, where no-one suffers and everyone is accepted. Of course, the world was meant to be Christian when it happened, but what would be wrong with a world with no suffering or persecution?
